The State of Iowa has $0 in Redevelopment Tax Credits available each Fiscal Year for redevelopment of brownfield or grayfield sites in Iowa. The program goal is to assist with redevelopment aimed at improving Iowa’s economy while reducing environmental hazards.

An application must be made using the Iowa Economic Development Authority Application form, which can be completed by logging in below. Applications are reviewed by the Brownfield Advisory Council, and credits are awarded annually in the fall. The deadline for applications for each Fiscal Year is 11:59 PM, local Iowa time, on September 1.
